About Camie

I’m Camie Juan, a 20-something free spirit. A Potterhead since ‘99. I have messy hair, a little freckled, and a huge French girl wannabe. I like basic colors, minimalism, and vintage things. I enjoy a good book, especially if it’s a nonfiction WWII/holocaust or a French related novel; and sometimes I like to write. One of my favorite things in life is sleeping in, and cuddling with my boyfriend, Gab. Nothing calms me down quicker than his presence. I love cold rainy days paired with the warmth of a good sweater. I believe in typewriters & making someone’s day. Nothing fascinates me more than history My motto in life is: “Je ne regrette rien”.

I’ve been blogging since I was about 12 years old. I’ve blog hopped from DiaryLand to Blogspot to Multiply (now a shopping website. Odd, I know.) before settling on Tumblr. Throughout the years, I’ve made a number of friends through my blog, so don’t hesitate to drop me a line or comment on posts or email me about anything! I promise, I do respond (99% of the time, if I don’t however, it might be because I’m busy, ended up in spam or I simply never received it!)

I guess that’s it! Everything else you can learn about me through my blog posts. I hope you guys enjoy my blog! :)

Hi Camie! I love your blog! I’m also curious about your work as a freelance, what do you do exactly? And how are you able to save?

    • Reply Camie Juan 22 December 2014 at 10:49 pm

      Hi Lanie,
Currently I’m a freelance lifestyle blogger so my income comes from my blog and other social media platforms. I’m also hoping to be a makeup artist soon, I’m just waiting for my classes to start, which should be around January :) As for saving up, right now my only expenses are personal necessities such as food/commute/shopping (which isnt something I do a lot) and some monthly bills like my website and my phone bill. I don’t have to pay for rent/utilities because I’m staying with my grandpa. So I’m able to save here and there from the money I earn :)

Hello Ate Camie! May I ask what is the theme you used for your blog? Or is it customized? Thank you!

Wow yey. It’s rare to find someone who shares the same interest in WWII/holocaust! Do you also fancy fiction novels about it, like The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne?

Hi camie! So I recently googled “how to get your hair to a platinum / silver” and stumbled across your blog! I really enjoy reading it! I’m still trying to get my hair to that same color! Any tips of what kind of bleach I should use?!?

    • Reply Camie Juan 11 September 2015 at 9:22 pm

Hi Jamie! Glad you love my blog. Heehee! Always such a pleasure knowing new visitors enjoy it. As for the bleach, No specific bleach in mind since I just used whatever was available in HBC or Landmark (assuming youre from the PH!)

Hi Camie!!!! I’ve been following you on instagram since the day I saw your pinky curled hair on a random social media site and I was like “oh my god who is this girl? And so, I ended up asking any of my friends if they’re familiar on you (your pinky curled hair) after that moment I keep on following you on insta, Twitter and your daily vlog on Youtube. Your photos are quite fascinating. Every time I watched your travel vlogs, it makes myself literally want to travel now. It’s so inspiring and amazing for you to share your experience on every places you went to. I hope I can do that too. Hehe! Hoping to meet you someday!
