How to: Half-Braided Headband, the Perfect Hairstyle for a day out with Girlfriends

post8a

I’m one of those people who believe that you have to look your best, as much as possible, when heading out in public. Not only is it presenting yourself well but it helps in giving you that confidence too, which can affect how people deal or react towards you and vice-versa. Your crowning glory is usually the one thing that can pull a whole look together, if your hair looks good, the rest of you do too.

A few months ago, I was invited by Preview All Things Hair and Sunsilk to learn how to create a half-braided headband and to film a video for you guys too.I think it’s pretty obvious that I’m a braids kind of girl and have done numerous looks with braids and so I absolutely enjoyed this look and even learning how to do it. I’ll admit, it takes practice but it’s doable! It’s the perfect look for those girly girl days out with your friends; it’s sleek, chic and definitely easy to do!

For this hairstyle, we used Sunsilk Smooth & Manageable shampoo and conditioner. I found that smooth hair made this hairstlye manageable because it was easier to control the sections of hair for the braids, it also helped prevent tangles from happening.

For the step by step guide, you can check out this blog post or watch the tutorial video below:

Apparently this YouTube video was made into an ad, which I never got to see myself, but numerous people on Twitter have been screencapping and sending me photos every time it comes up on their YouTube. I hope you guys enjoy!

This made me want to grow my hair into medium length. I will surely try this once I’ve the enough length to braid my hair.
