My Current Everyday Makeup Products

day 6

Here are my typical go-to products for everyday makeup — I find this look to be very appropriate for everyday, school, and work settings. It’s light, and not over the top.

You can skip the foundation (I usually do if I’m just doing errands) or concealer if you don’t need it! The only thing I would always recommend as a must is curling your eyelashes (makes you look awake and lights up your face), the blush for your cheeks, and if you’ve got sparse eyebrows, fill those babies in! Also, don’t forget a bit of lip color — if you’re anything like me and you get quite pale (to the point of people asking if you’re sick) then lip color is a must!

To be honest, I don’t have a large collection of makeup. I don’t wear makeup everyday, so you’d imagine that having a wide collection would be  a waste due to the fact that majority of the time they’d be sitting in my room collecting dust. These are my top products that I use each and every time, and you could say are my current favorites.

I currently use a mix of drugstore and high-end makeup but for those who are on a budget, I can do a post for you of purely drugstore brands that I use on my face? Soon, soon. I already feel like someone will most definitely want a post like this! Haha

Do you have a favorite everyday makeup product that I don’t currently use? Let me know, I’m on the look out for new products to try out! :)

I use Shu Uemura’s brow pencil everyday and holy shit gurl, my eyebrows look amazing after using it (I have mona lisa like brows…) Quite expensive though but lasts really long!

Lovely post :) My current make up staple is liquid eyeliner by KIKO, I’m a total winged liner girl! x

I’m a winged liner girl too! Although I still can’t perfect it, so it makes me frustrated. HAHA

Camie! You could try using the tape technique with applying your winged eyeliner :) Putting eyeliner takes a looooooot of practice to get accustomed to. Hope you’re doing fine with the blog transistion, missing your posts already on my dashboard :(

Hey Camie! I also prefer minimal makeup for everyday look. I highly recommend Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, which covers under eye circles really well plus it is very affordable. And then apply In2it powder foundation on my T-zone area only. Careline rosy blush on and Tony Moly delight magic lip tint. That’s it! Lakas maka-fresh nito! :) all the products that I mentioned are my HG products!

Love it! Thanks for the recommendations. I was looking at Collection Cosmetics for concealer, but I wasn’t too sure! Couldnt find proper reviews online, but since you’ve mentioned it, I’ll give it a look again! :) Does Careline have shimmer on their blush? Majority of drugstore blushes kasi have and it’s annoying. I hate looking so shimmery :))

Your makeup products look great! Although you say you don’t have a large collection, it’s definitely better than mine – I only have an eyeliner pencil, 3 eyeshadow colors, and a lip gloss. I never got around to buying more because 1) I don’t know how to use the others and 2) I wouldn’t have the time to go out of the way to make over my whole face haha.

Oh and I also have Elizabeth Arden eyeshadows, they’re beautiful!

      • Reply Camie Juan 21 August 2014 at 12:06 am

They are! But I’m a big fan of neutral shades, so I dont get to use the other shades EA usually has on their palettes. Haha

Well, to each their own… Some people can really look great without doing much to their face! Im not one of those people, to be honest! I really like the makeup application. i find it really fun! Haha But my collection is practically considered to be a collection for normal girls. I know others who HOARD makeup. Which is bad because it doesnt have long shelf life, so you have to use them a lot! If not, what a waste!

nice post camie! I’m currently in love with in2it products. Hope you could try their products too.

lovely post camie! My favorite make-up products are Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation and YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in 13 – Peach Passion. The frist one is definitely a must try. It leaves my skin fresh and oil free through out the day and it does a perfect job covering my entire face. The YSL lipstick is also my fave. It gives me a neutral peachy look and it doesn’t look harsh. You should try this bad boy. :)

Thanks CJ! I’m a sucker for peach lipsticks, is this YSL lipstick in matte? :) Also, is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation (what a mouthful), I have to find this one, I dont know if it’s available locally! :(

Because I have the oiliest skin (uggh) I try to stay away from liquid foundation. Ellana Minerals Loose Foundation is what I use almost everyday :) Perfect for frugal girls like me who are on a budget – a little goes a long way and it has a decent coverage. It gives me the “I made up but I didn’t try to hard” effect because I’m always paranoid if I’m too made up. Haha! That, Wet n Wild’s brow kit and Benefit’s benetint (for lips and cheeks) complete my go-to look. :)

Btw, what shade are you using in Elf’s brow kit? :D Might try that one once I’ve finished up my WnW! :)
