same date, different year. so different, yet exactly the same.
This day last year: Our first non-date, hang-out date, date. lol
oblivious to the storm.
- Weather was so weird, rained like crazy but it was still hot.
- Hung out with Gab at Town
- Had lunch at Friday’s
- Watched Super 8. It was pretty good. I liked it a lot because it was quite funny. Also, Elle Fanning was great. I got super gulat at one part, and nearly had a heart attack.
- Went around and around and around. For once Town wasn’t so boring. Gab and I went window shopping.
- Entered the high-end shops and pretended to be filthy rich folks.
- Played on a big board of Snakes and Ladders… Nearly lost but I caught up and won. Aw yiiee. Haha
- Played trivia games on the toy laptops. Laptop: “You’re so smart!” Me: “THANK YOU!”
- The revelations of my virginities: Star Wars, Jamaican Patty.
- “Pack your bags, baby, we’re going to Jamaican Patty.” Hahaha
- “I’m going to tweet that.”
- Lost my Jamaican Patty virginity.
- Learned new information about Gab’s life~ hahah
- Rustan’s Discovery Shop was extremely cool.
- Why do boys have better clothes? I don’t know man, they have such nice clothes, sometimes I wish I was a boy :(
- Although, you know, being a girl is just 20943829032 times better.
- GabbyBear Strauss and CamieCake Barber. Just two Jewish-German and Cherokee-Irish friends hanging out. Haha
This day this year:
- Peanutbutter + banana on toast breakfast on the way to school
- Nearly died from stress working on apparel creative project
- Gab the sucky tattoo artist
- Negative tattoo, positive tattoo = A good match
- Gab sawing metal for me, my own Noah Calhoun (except Noah was a carpenter and worked with wood……………………….)
- Escaped to The Fort
- Friday’s, Teriyaki Burger has been phased out!!!!! NOOOOO!
- Played Snakes and Ladders on a mini portable board game. Gab bought one just to relive last year! Aww <3
- I lost. TWICE. Unlike our game last year on the life size snakes and ladders game. I quit after I lost the 2nd time. LOL.
- Scarfing down our food like theres no tomorrow. Feeding Gab bits of my Jack Daniels burger whenever I was still too busy chewing my food. Haha Sharing is caring.
- Walked around the fort, window shopped as always
- Entered Bo Concept to look at furniture and interior designs, because we just love to pick out pieces that we’d want in our own homes.
- Maxi Works, realized how much Gab has influenced me with Batman… Every time I see anything Batman related I go on full alert and say, “Ooh look they have bobble head Bane!!” …….Crap.
- Fully booked, book browsing. Another thing Gab and I often do.
- Headed home early because our feet were starting to hurt… That’s what happens when you wear high-cut shoes all the time :(
- Home sweet home <3
- Online shopping at F21 while asking Gab’s opinions on the clothing I should get.
- Gab lost his contacts so I put down my name first under “My Sexy Girlfriend” with a sexy photo from my 50’s pin-up photoshoot lol
- Couch cuddling and googling cream puffs and where to find them here. AND YES WE FOUND A PLACE AND I CANT WAIT TO GET SOME THIS COMING WEEK! Or next. If I’m not too busy. lol
- Quick goodbye kisses because dad was approaching the front door. (Thank you for the long walkway from the gate to the door lol
It’s crazy how so much has changed yet remained the same. This time last year, Gab and I were two really good friends, and he wanted to hang out and I finally said yes to going out with him. I realized we’re still so pretty much alike from Camie-Gab friends and Camie-Gab in a relationship. I can now say that best friends make for the best relationship you can ever have. :)
