Win a Trip to Thailand through Amazing Dream Journey!

When I hear the word Thailand, a few thoughts come into mind: Buddhism, diverse culture, vibrant lifestyles, and beautiful sceneries. Thailand has always been very exotic to me, I always hear about how it’s a country many foreigners want to visit and/or even live in, and someday it’s a place I hope to explore myself as well.

My interest in Thailand first piqued when my boyfriend, Gab, traveled with his family to Bangkok a few years back. He raved about the beauty of Thailand, and how it was a place he didn’t mind visiting again. He took some photos and shared them with me when he came home. I guess it’s true what they say, that you can fall in love with the world through the eyes of the person you love ;-)

Currently the Tourism Authority of Thailand is holding a campaign activity where all you can create your own 3 days/2 nights dream trip itinerary for two and share it on your social media sites. The selected winners will take a trip to Thailand based on your selected theme.

There are 6 themes to choose from: The Royal Project Culinary, Luxurious Honeymoon, Well-Being Trail, Life on the Green, Splendid Yacht, and Extravagant Eco Shell.

I joined the activity and chose The Royal Project Culinary theme because when I travel, I really love getting to know a place’s culture, and as a visual person I love beautiful nature/sceneries. The Royal Project Culinary originated through the royal project foundations, founded to solve problems of deforestation, opium and poverty in Thailand. Nowadays, these projects have become beautiful tourist attractions in Thailand and are not to be missed.

It took me a while to pick what places to visit because I didn’t want a jam-packed itinerary per day. When I travel, I like to take my time and savour the moments in each place. After much deliberation, I finally came up with the places I want to visit should I win:

The Royal Project culinary offers diverse tourist attractions and I was able to keep it balanced with a mix of nature and wildlife, historical monuments, and arts & crafts. Just looking at this itinerary gets me excited, with high hopes of winning too. :-)

It’s an easy campaign to take part in and you can do it in five minutes or even less. I took long but only because I really thought about the places I wanted for my itinerary. :-P

To join and create your own Amazing Dream Journey itinerary for Thailand, all you have to do is visit http://amazingstories.tourismthailand.org/ and follow the simple instructions. I would also love to see what themes you picked or what your itinerary looks like, so please share them with me! :-)
